• Marketing a blog like an an aerial attack only softens your enemy
• Ground forces win the war – meaning, Exciting Stuff is must for a Popular Blog
• Vision for your Blog decides what you write
• Important to have each of the mission in line with vision
• Once Vision is in place, design a Strategy to realize the vision

• Strategy is not equal to Tactics.• Strategy doesn’t change drastically, tactics vary
based on situations (of your blogging)• To start off have a flexible tactic by and large to
realize the strategic goals • Al Ries says: Tactic is the nail, strategy is the
hammer.• Strategy and Tactics are executed and first finish
line is reached a newer finish line will get defined

• Advantages blogging in a community– You already have an audience (not shouting into
an empty space)
– Feeling of participating in a established discussion
• If appropriate, add a link from your blog if it adds value to discussion thread

• Tweet when you publish– People who follow you on Twitter are those who
seek to know what you are upto.
• Provide relevant links from your blogs to support or enhance a Twitter Discussion
• Also Promote blogs that you like (of others), Mutual scratchback is bound to happen
• Use SEO technique to make blog more discoverable

• SEO is all about Intelligent use of keywords in line with the Vision and Strategy.
• Provide Auto-Feed and updates to other Social Media sites – FB, Twitter, Pinterest, Tumbler etc.
• Design blogs with Tags, Categories and labels
• Finally ensure a Catchy Title – (and discoverable ones)
– Remember it is not about Semantics, it is about discoverability
