Who fought for what side?
It’s called the French and Indian War, so the French were fighting the Native Americans, right? WRONG – The name comes from the two main enemies
of the British colonists, the French and the American Indians
Despite the name, Native Americans fought on both sides of the conflict
One one side were the British (including the British North American colonists)
On the other side were the French and Indians.
Results of WarResults of WarA. Britain gained control over half the North
American continent, including French Canada, all French territorial claims-everything east of the Mississippi River, and Spanish Florida.
B. Another result of the war - British decide to reevaluate their relationship with the colonies.

financial problems. They owe a lot of money. 1. Britain began fighting in 1754 with a national
debt of approximately 75 million pounds, but the war effort caused the debt to soar to 133 million pounds by 1763.
