Who fought for what side?

It’s called the French and Indian War, so the French were fighting the Native Americans, right? WRONG – The name comes from the two main enemies

of the British colonists, the French and the American Indians

Despite the name, Native Americans fought on both sides of the conflict

One one side were the British (including the British North American colonists)

On the other side were the French and Indians.
