• Builds upon the existing rule.• Established method: Sequential Run-off,

Instant Run-off, Irish Method…• Used by cities, countries, and in election of

the board of many US corporations.• It guarantees to conclude the election in one

round of voting.

• The ballots for those who are elected or eliminated are then redistributed according to the ranking of the remaining candidates on those ballots.

• The process is repeated until 3 candidates are elected.
