MODULAR STOCK: THE BEST PRECISIONFOR THE MOST ACCURATE SHOT

Why a Goodshoot modular stock?How many times have we missed the shot due to a poor gun fit?

We know that our body, not only changes over the years, but it is unique in its form: eyes position, structure of the cheek bone on the face, the distance between the neck and shoulders, the height of the neck or the size of the arms and shooting hand. Therefore, for a proper gun fit all all these anthro-pometric measures must be considered to get an accurate shot.

Proper placing of the cheek on the comb, avoids injuries caused by the recoil of the gun. Therefore, the fully adjustable comb is not only essential to reduce recoil but also to align perfectly the eyes with the sight of the shotgun. The latter ensures a shot that is pointed to what we are looking and that is the Target.

Now, with the Goodshoot stock, we have the flexibility to fully adjust the stock for a personalized fit to the shooter’s personal characteristics.

What adjustments can be made in the Goodshoot stock?

• Length: The stock is designed to increase or decrease the length to accommodate each shooter’s arm and the forearm length.

• Comb height: The stock is designed to adjust the height of the comb to match the shooter’s neck height. At the same time this permits vertical eye alignment to the rib of the gun.

• Advantage (lateral Cast): Depending if the shooter is right or left handed, the cast must be set for each individual shooter. The stock is designed to fine tune the cast so the eye is centered on the rib gun.

• Pitch: The angle of the recoil pad on the stock is fully adjustable. The purpose is to have the pad fully in contact with the pocket of the shoulder thus reducing or eliminating muzzle jump. Besides reducing muzzle jump, proper pitch reduces the discomfort of the comb hitting the cheek bone.

• Cast (off/on): To get a completely support of the shotgun on the shoulder’s pocket and to avoid that it hits in the cheekbone. Adjusted Cast will bring the shooter’s eye directly in line down the center of the rib

• Drop at heel: It allows to reduce the slope with the drop on the comb and thus reduce the effect of the recoil on the cheek

• Balance Weight: Weight adjustment of the stock permits balancing the gun to the preference of the shooter. The proper balancing improves the movement of the gun to the target and the handling sensation which is critical for the overall comfort.

• Shot stabilizer (recoil reduction): Decreases the natural recoil of the first shot, to get more stability on the second shot.

• Grip: Proper sizing of the grip to the hand of the shooter is extremely important. A confortable grip helps fluidly and safely guides the shotgun to the target. Goodshoot offers 6 different models of grips (3 dynamic and 3 static) with 3 different measures depending on hand’s size. We also offer the option to fully customize a grip to your specific hand measurements.
