IT’S ALL ABOUT FLIPPING THE SCRIPTIt is natural that clients want to visit the well-known ‘highlights’ of our destinations – and rightly so. We spend time ensuring they see these wonders of the world in a new way, away from the crowds. We can arrange cycling to the lesser-known temples of Angkor or a private sunrise breakfast on a quiet, grassy bank overlooking the Taj Mahal.
Our guide, Bahrat, was faultless and very charming. I really enjoyed the cycle ride through Old Delhi – that struck me as really original and an opportunity to see the most authentic part of the city in a non-touristy way.

MEANINGFUL TRAVELIS POSSIBLE At cazenove+loyd, we understand that the motivation for some journeys is the desire to trace your ancestors. We will go to any lengths to help you connect with your family’s past and open up a history that might otherwise have been forgotten.
Recently, we helped a family follow in their grandfather’s footsteps in Nepal, where he had served in the 9th Gurkha Rifles. We arranged a surprise family dinner with members of his old regiment, who brought photos of him with them.

Therefore, the trips we design always include thoughtful touches – sometimes a surprise, sometimes not – that cater to the clients’ interests and likes. This added value can only be crafted by our experts due to the special relationship they build with them. They are not dictated by cost but priceless acts that enhance a trip and convey to the client that we have understood them.
Once, for example, we arranged for Father Christmas to visit a young family concerned they would be forgotten at a chimneyless tented camp in India. We also surprised an artistic client with watercolour paints and an easel planted in particularly stunning points in the desert in Wadi Rum, so that she could paint throughout her journey.

We are fully independent, so our only concern when choosing a luxury railway carriage, private yacht or a cabin is what is right for our clients. We are uniquely qualified to create fabulous and exclusive parties for those wishing to celebrate a special occasion in one of our regions. Our network of contacts grants us access to some of the most extraordinary locations around the world. Whatever the reason to celebrate, inspiration comes directly from the destination and we bring that destination to life in spectacular style.
Celebrations include island-hopping in Indonesia’s Raja Ampat to party in an area of untouched beauty, sitting down to a banquet beneath the stars in a secluded, bespoke desert encampment in the Omani desert or dining and dancing adorned in garlands within the walls of a private palace in India. With cazenove+loyd, anything is possible.
Parties can be created for up to 150 guests and we organise everything from start to finish.
why travel with cazenove+loyd?
Our guests came across a fleet of personalised tuk-tuks, accompanied by a team of ‘Stigs’ in white helmets wearing white kurta pyjamas giving them a distinctly Indian twist. Their role – to prepare guests for a rickshaw rally through the desert on a carefully constructed racetrack full of hidden tricks and challenges. It is safe to say that the dust in Rajasthan was left very much unsettled.
