Who we areOur Studio
Pixelflakes is an architectural marketing
studio comprised of artists.
The approach we take evokes thought
and conveys emotion. It is this
approach that has cemented on-going
working relationships with many of our
collaborators.
Whilst the team descends from different
backgrounds and nationalities - we
share a common passion and language
for quality artistic visualisation and
communication.
Marvin NooitgedachtPartner, Managing DirectorM.A. Art & Technology
Having grown up in the Netherlands, Marvin
made his way over to London to co-found
Pixelflakes in 2012 alongside Matthew Perry
Reid. Marvin is the Managing Director of
Pixelflakes and holds a Masters degree in Art
& Technology from the University Of Utrecht,
Netherlands.
Pedro BotelhoAssociate, Project ManagerM.A.rch.
Pedro is natively Portuguese and holds
an MA in Architecture which he acquired
in his home town, Lisbon. Prior to joining
Pixelflakes in 2013, Pedro worked at varied
architectural practices such as Promontorio
in Lisbon and Tryptyque in São Paulo.
Benjamin MarzysAssociate, Art DirectorM.A.rch.
Ben joined Pixelflakes in 2014 after having
worked as an architect at architectural
practices NFA Office and Studio Arne Quinze
in Belgium. He completed his studies at
Cardiff’s Welsh School of Architecture and
London’s Bartlett School of Architecture.
Matthew Perry ReidPartner, Visualisation DirectorB.A. (Hons) Architectural Visualisation
Matthew is our Visualisation Director and
founding Partner at Pixelflakes. He holds
a degree in Architectural Visualisation (BA
Hons) from Bournemouth University and has
worked at renowned visualisation studios
across London.

A great brand is a story that is never completely told.
Marketing/Interactive
As an uncommissioned portfolio piece,
Pixelflakes gathered inspiration from Herzog
& de Meuron’s 56 Leonard street and
generated a case study for a new visual
identity campaign.
The concept reflects the building’s stacked
layers in both digital form and print. A
custom concrete coloured box houses a de-
bossed white brochure, the lifestyle map and
floorplans. A modern yet luxury introduction to
one of Tribeca’s most desired addresses.

Within the studio we have set up a custom
work-flow that allows us to apply the same
level of post-production and 2D integration
to our 360 imagery, as we do our still
imagery. This allows us to create captivating
VR experiences, which can be viewed from
the comfort of a web browser, or with VR
headsets.
