Zapata asked Guajardo tests and gave them to shoot about 50 federal soldiers, with consent of Carranza and Pablo Gonzlez, and offer Zapata weapons and ammunition to continue the fight. So they agreed to meet at the Hacienda de Chinameca, Morelos, on April 10, 1919. Zapata camped with his forces outside the hacienda, and came to the same accompanied only by his escort of 100 men. The movement continued, although with less intensity, and the Zapatistas agreed to appoint Gildardo Magaa chief of the Liberation Army of the South. He would be the last, since almost a year later, the old fellow aguaprietista government Zapata to be integrated, although some of them would be killed by the government.
