We need your help.• In class announcements.• Info booth in first weeks of semester.• Adds in Buff Bulletin.• The goal is to have a large enough pool of potential

subjects so that it can be useful to several researchers.

Subject pool management system.

• Sends email invitations to a random subset of the subject pool

• Sends additional invites if the response rate is too low• Sends reminder emails to subjects who RSVP• Updates a reputation system for subjects, and blacklists

consistent no-show subjects• Keeps track of subject participation, so you can exclude

“primed” former subjects• Currently operated by Monica, but could be an ongoing

grad student role if sufficient interest

Available to the department:

• Potential for ongoing petty cash fund that can be replenished to pay subjects (thanks to Carol!)

Experimental research opportunity for Faculty and Grad Students.

• This resource is available to the department could help facilitate laboratory experimental research

– Ideal for physical environment manipulation experiments– Ideal for face-to-face group dynamics experiments

• Grad students may want to add an extra methodological tool to their CV
