WWE South Fork Camp
Our South Fork Base Camp is by far the most well equipped,
comfortable camp on the river. This allows us to enjoy the
wilderness side of our river trips but still benefit from some of
the usual niceties of life. Our camp is located directly on the
banks of the South Fork of the American river, near Coloma, on 20
acres of wilderness. This site is used only by our guests and is
not a public camp area. We have equipped it with full bathrooms
that have flush toilets, hot showers, sinks and mirrors. We also
have a sunken sand volleyball court, along with horseshoe pits and
ping pong in the rare case that you didnt get enough exercise on
the water! Our camp store is loaded with sweatshirts, t-shirts,
hats, snacks, camping items and much more.

Rafting Trip
The South, North, and Middle Forks of the American River are
excellent choices for combining two or three different river trips
into one exciting adventure. There are many options available for
trips that are from two to five days in length. We provide all
great meals, camping is at our own private riverside camp area, you
can bring your own camping gear or rent from us. We even have
deluxe Cabin Tents that sleep 4 with cots and pads.

Kayak School
Want to try something different with yourself, your family,
youth group, or have some kids that are keen on learning a new
skill. Then our BRAND NEW Whitewater Excitement Kayak School is
just what you have been looking for.
Taught by long time and experienced kayakers, the WWE Kayak
Instructor crew are some of the best trainers and kayakers in the
area.
Our one and two day sessions teach participants the basics of
whitewater kayaking. We will begin on the flatwater of Folsom Lake
and then progress to the Class 1 and 2
moving waters of the South Fork of the American. Focus will be
on kayak control, currents, learning to roll the kayak (after
capsizing), and reading whitewater and rapids. A super fun way to
spend a day or two.
One Day sessions include lunch, and the 2 Day session includes,
2 nights of camping at our own private camp area, 2 days of kayak
instruction, and 5 meals.
