Whitelist setup guide - iOS for iPad and iPhone

Step 1: Launch the Settings app from the Home screen of your iPhone or iPad.

Step 2: Tap on General.

Step 3: Enable Restrictions and set a passcode if Restrictions aren’t already enabled.

Step 4: Under Allowed Content, tap on Websites.

Step 5: Now Tap on Specific Websites Only.

Step 6: Select ‘Add a website’ at the bottom and type in the full URL of the website you’d like to include and tap Done on the keyboard.

Step 7: Repeat this process for each site you’d like to include in the whitelist.

Creating a “sandbox” or safe area for app use:

Step 1: Launch the Settings app from the Home screen of your iPhone or iPad.

Step 2: Tap on General.

Step 3: Tap on Accessibility.

Step 4: Tap on Guided Access.

Step 5: Slide the switch to turn Guided Access on

Step 6: Go to the app that you want your child to play in safely without accessing the rest of your device.

Step 7: Triple click the home button to activate Guided Access and insert a PIN number.

Step 8: When your child stops using the app, triple click on the home button again and insert your PIN number to deactivate Guided Access.
