Whitefish Baseball Parents and Players Information Sheet All Players and Parents must sign and return this document to their coach prior to the first game of the 2013 season.

Goals of Whitefish Baseball Program

A safe and fun environment that promotes a positive introduction to learn and participate in team sports, develop fundamental skills,

sportsmanship, and most importantly to HAVE FUN!

Team Sports

Players and parents should make a commitment to attend all scheduled practices and games. Players and/or parents are highly encouraged to

contact and inform the coach if they cannot attend a practice or game. Players that do not show up for practices and games affect the team as

a whole. Remember baseball is a TEAM sport and your teammates depend on you.

Equipment Needed

Each team will be provided with uniforms, catchers gear, batting helmets, and a team bat. Players should supply their own baseball glove, pants

(unless in MAJOR league), rubber cleats and protective cup. As weather is unpredictable, players should dress appropriately and bring extra

layers (coats, long sleeve shirts, etc.) to each practice and game. Players should bring water bottles to stay hydrated. Players may bring their

own additional equipment (batting helmets, bats, catchers gear, etc.) as long as the equipment falls within the league rules. For a complete list

of equipment regulations please inquire with your coach. All equipment disputes will be handled by the league president. The MAJOR league

division is issued league owned uniforms. Failure to return the uniform and any other equipment issued to Whitefish Baseball in as good a

condition as received, except for the normal wear-and-tear, one week after the last game played will pay a $75.00 per uniform and/or the

replacement cost of any unreturned equipment.

League Divisions

Age of child on 4/30/2013

T-Ball (4-6) / Rookie (7-8) / Minor (9-10) / Major (11-12)

Whitefish Baseball, Inc. assigns players to play in their designated divisions based upon age.

Team Parent

Each team will need a team parent to help the coach coordinate and organize the snack bar schedule and team pictures. Please

volunteer.

Snack Bar

Each team parent will be required to schedule and cover shifts at the snack bar. Each team will be responsible to have coverage in

the snack bar at least one game during the season. A team may “opt-out” from covering the snack bar at the cost of $25 per

scheduled snack bar (day) assignment.

The team parent will attend the snack bar meeting prior to the start of the season.

Any game can and will be delayed if the assigned team does not provide proper coverage in the snack bar.

Smith Fields

ABSOLUTELY NO VEHICLES are allowed inside the fenced area. This includes coach's vehicles and handicap vehicles. All vehicles

should use the designated parking areas.

Pets are NOT allowed outside of your vehicle at Smith Fields.

Tobacco, Alcohol and Drugs are NOT allowed within the boundaries of the Smith Field Complex.

Player and Parent Conduct

Each registered player and parent is a representative of Whitefish Baseball whether they are on or off the field at all times. We expect our

players and parents to conduct themselves in a respectful manner when engaging any other person (player, coach, fan, child, adult) whether

they are at or away from the Smith Field Complex. If it is found that a player or parent does not conducting themselves in a respectful manner

(swearing, threatening, fighting, etc.), this should be brought to the attention of a League Board Member and action will be immediately taken

to address the matter. This may result in the ejection from a game, the Smith Field Complex and/or indefinite suspension of the player and

parents from the Smith Field Complex for the remainder of the season without a registration fee refund.
