White River Bridge Replacement The Indiana Rail Road hosted AREMA Committee 18 on May 13 th and 14 th . This included a field trip to allow the committee to observe the work in- progress during a 6-day outage at the White River Bridge replace project. The project replaces the timber approach spans and three 115 year old Pratt-style pin-connected steel truss bridge that crosses the White River. The replacement bridge will support industry-standard 286,000-pound railcars at speeds up to 40 mph and remove height restrictions, allowing double-stack containers.

White River Bridge Replacement

The Indiana Rail Road hosted AREMA Committee 18 on May 13th and 14th. This included a field trip to allow the committee to observe the work in-progress during a 6-day outage at the White River Bridge replace project.
