Re: 2014 Bonuses

On behalf of the Americas Operations Council, we are pleased to announce year-end bonuses to

U.S. counsel and associates. The Firm is awarding bonuses for 2014 to New York associates as

follows:

Class Bonus Amount

2006 $100,000

2007 $100,000

2008 $85,000

2009 $70,000

2010 $55,000

2011 $40,000

2012 $25,000

2013 $15,000

2014 $15,000 (pro-rated)

High achieving associates who have substantially exceeded expectations, in terms of hours and

outstanding contribution, will be eligible for an additional bonus amount in excess of the amount

announced above for their level.

As in the past, each U.S. office will determine and pay individual associate bonus amounts based

on the respective office policy for associate bonuses (with each U.S. office outside of New York

expected to make adjustments to the bonus range as necessary to accommodate for local market

considerations and the offices policy). The bonuses of all U.S. counsel and other senior lawyers will be determined on an individual basis.

Individual bonus decisions will be communicated in January to counsel and associates receiving

bonuses, and will be paid to lawyers in good standing with the Firm in early February 2015.

Additionally, bonuses will be pro-rated for any eligible associate who was on an unpaid leave

during 2014.
