The Whistler Intellectual Property Conference, hosted by PATSKI is an international meeting of patent professionals which com-bines a world-class skiing and snowboarding experience with an opportunity to meet, and exchange knowledge and information with business associates from around the world. This is our 15th year and each year we have returning as well as new participants

who recognize this as a unique educational and business opportunity.

The topic for this year’s business sessions will be “Heads Up, Here Comes That Pendulum Again!”. Some observers have argued that the recent series of decisions of the Supreme Court of the United States in patent cases, such as Alice, Limelight and Nautilus, have significantly reduced the value of patent portfolios around the world. Our business sessions will examine how patent attorneys around the world are changing their drafting practices and litigation strategies to maintain and increase the value of their clients’ portfolios.
