Whispering Earth Sustainability Training Centre
Global Giving Campaign launched After many years we are now in the process of
purchasing a 4 acre plot on the outskirts of Kalaw for the start of the new Training Centre! The centre will be a
space for living and learning about: natural building (bamboo & earth), Permaculture, organic farming,
appropriate technology and holist education teacher training. It will also link directly with the Sprouting Seeds
Café and Bakery in town, giving opportunities for both locals and international guest to learn about sustainable
models of living.
We have shared our vision for the project and now have a family ready to sell their land for a fair price knowing the aims of a new training centre which will support capacity
building in the local region.
The site is a spectacular 4 acres in the middle of a pristine valley with natural forest, mountains, rice paddy and
agricultural land.
Please help us reach our goal to purchase the land and start the building of the training centre over the next few months

The Café and Bakery is now
celebrating one official year of operation! We are so proud that
Aye Aung won the PPIC (Product Package & Innovation
Competition) for all of Myanmar! With this award we are able to
start traditional cooking classes, a yoga studio and expand our
natural product line as well as reach more youth for trainings.
We welcome volunteers to come and support our projects here in
Myanmar.
