● Communication was used when being in the supervisor role, working with vendors, and helping operators
● Time management was important when scheduling for the line and working on multiple projects at a time
● Problem Solving was used daily but especially when working on big projects
● Quality Engineering skills grew tremendously when working on line 7
● Safety Engineering skills developed when doing wish audits
● Lean knowledge increased when re-designing work cells
● AutoCad and Google sheets were used daily with projects and scheduling
● Meeting 50# metrics● Maintenance improvements were
achieved by maintaining the water softener and doing hipot testing
● Safety improvements were achieved by the new drain hoses and from wish audits
● Organization improved once the new racks were installed
● Time was saved after drain hoses and new racks were installed
● Quality improvements were made on line 7 by fixing foamed in air vents, scratches, and hinges
● FTY improvements on line 7 for 2nd shift
● Cost savings of $11,300 for removal of edge guards
