Formación de Fe es para toda la vida. Nues-tras inscripciones para el año 2015-2016, ya están abiertas. Los documentos necesarios para registrarse son: Forma de inscripción para el año 2015-2016, debidamente elabora-
da, Certificado de Nacimiento y Certificado de Bau-tismo. Para conveniencia de los padres, tenemos dos sesiones, una a las 5:00 PM y otra a las 7:00 PM, todos los miércoles. Donación, $60.00 anual por alumno. Ins-cripción temprana, $50.00 por alumno.
Faith Formation is for life. Our enrollment for the year 2015-2016 is now open. Doc-uments required for registration are: Reg-istration Form for 2015-2016, completely filled out, Birth Certificate and Certificate of Baptism. For the convenience of parents, we have two sessions, one at 5:00 PM the other at 7:00 PM, every Wednesday. An annual fee of $60.00 per student is requested. Early registration $50.00 per student.
Wednesday, June 10th at 6:00 PM is the closing date of our sessions of Faith Formation for the year 2014-2015. We thank the students, parents, grand-parents, uncles, aunts and catechists for their sup-port and dedication on this journey of faith. May your YES to the evangelization plan of the Good Jesus, be the source of light to you and the world. God bless you and continue the pace of a winner, our final destination is heaven.

“Ma chair, pour la vie du monde”

Une vive discussion s'engagea: “Comment cet homme-là peut-il nous donner sa chair à manger?” Beaucoup ont même cessé de le suivre. Pour l'assistance d'alors comme pour bien de nos contemporains, la proposition de Jésus est irrecevable. Accueillons-la à la lumière des lectures d'aujourd'hui. L'extrait du Deutéronome nous parle du séjour d'Israël au désert du Sinaï. Le peuple de Dieu a quitté l'esclavage en Égypte et passera de très longues années au désert. L'auteur explique les événements en rappelant au peuple ce que le Seigneur Dieu a
voulu lui dire au long de cet interminable passage. C'est une leçon en images qui lui est donnée. Le peuple de Dieu a été humilié, il a eu faim et soif, il a été menacé par des scorpions et des serpents à la morsure brûlante. Selon le rédacteur, le but de l'épreuve était que la fidélité d'Israël s'enracine fermement en Dieu. Par l'expérience du désert, le peuple comprendra enfin que “l'homme ne vit pas seulement de pain mais de toute parole qui sort de la bouche de Dieu.” Au désert, le pain lui-même vient de Dieu: c'est la manne qui tombe du ciel chaque matin. Le breuvage vient de Dieu: c'est l'eau qui jaillit du rocher. Ainsi le peuple aura conscience d'entrer dans la terre promise, non pas par ses propres forces, mais de façon très visible par la puissance de Dieu. Cette parole de Dieu, pain de vie, sera ensuite transmise de génération en génération. Jusqu'à la fin de son histoire, le peuple des croyants saura que Dieu seul l'a fait sortir d'Égypte. Dieu seul le protège du danger. Dieu seul le désaltère avec l'eau du rocher. Dieu seul le nourrit avec la manne qui tombe du ciel. Si le peuple réussit à vivre au désert, s'il peut entrer enfin dans la terre promise, c'est grâce à cette nourriture que Dieu lui a donnée. Dans notre monde où tout s'organise souvent comme si Dieu était absent, la promesse de Jésus nous retrempe dans la joie et l'espérance. Nous célébrons la présence du Ressuscité qui nous réunit à sa table et nous réalisons en Église l'essentiel de la condition chrétienne: sa chair est la nourriture de notre passage et son sang entretient en nous la vie qui ne finit pas.
Solemnidad del Cuerpo y la Sangre de Cristo
Este domingo celebramos la Solemnidad del Cuerpo y la Sangre de Cristo, que se reconoce también como la Fiesta de Corpus Christi. Esta solemnidad se remonta al siglo 13 a pesar de que está conectado directamente a una fiesta mucho más antigua, la Institución de la Sagrada Comunión en la Última Cena. Esta solemnidad pretende dar honor a la Sagrada Eucaristía en el Santísimo Sacramento. La fiesta de Corpus Christi es una época en que nuestro Señor en el Santísimo Sacramento está expuesto no sólo a los fieles católicos, sino para todo el mundo. Este es un momento en que los católicos pueden mostrar su amor por Cristo en Su presencia real haciendo adoración de una manera muy pública. Muchas conversiones en la Iglesia han resultado de la experiencia de la Adoración Eucarística. En el año 1264, el Papa Urbano IV estableció la fiesta del Corpus Christi como fiesta universal de la Iglesia. Los famosos himnos "Pange Lingua" y "Tantum Ergo”, fueron compuestos para este día de fiesta por Santo Tomás de Aquino. Como parte de Corpus Christi, la Iglesia tiene una procesión eucarística en la que el Santísimo Sacramento está expuesto públicamente para que todos lo vean. Cuando los fieles bautizados hacen procesión para recibir la Eucaristía en la misa, nos convertimos en un símbolo viviente del Cuerpo de Cristo, la exposición del amor de Cristo presente entre nosotros.
Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ
This Sunday we are celebrating the Solemnity of the Body and Blood of Christ, also known as the Feast of Corpus Christi. This solemnity dates back to the 13th century even though it is directly connected to a much more ancient feast, the Institution of Holy Communion at the Last Supper. This solemnity is meant to give honor of the Holy Eucharist in the Blessed Sacrament. The feast of Corpus Christi is a time when our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament is exposed not just to faithful Catholics but to all the world. This is a time when Catholics can show their love for Christ in His Real Presence by honoring Him in a very public way. Many conversions are a result of Eucharistic Adoration experienced in the Church. In the year 1264, Pope Urban IV established the Feast of Corpus Christi as a universal feast of the Church. The famous hymns ‘Pange Lingua’ and ‘Tantum Ergo’ were composed by St. Thomas Aquinas for this feast day. As part of Corpus Christi, the Church has a Eucharistic procession in which the Blessed Sacrament is publically exposed for all to see. When the faithful baptized process to receive the Eucharist, we become a living symbol of the Body of Christ exposing our love for Christ in who we are. We should make every effort to reconcile with God and receive communion every chance we get.

Jesus, the perfect steward, gave thanks, just before He gave Himself to us completely for our salvation. He offers us the chance to drink from His cup. In the Eucharist, we meet Christ personally and, if we listen to Him, we know what drinking from His cup means for each of us. Often, it means our own sacrifice – giving up some of our time, talent and treasure to do His work on earth.
Jesús, el servidor perfecto, dio gracias, justo antes de que se entregara a nosotros por completo para nuestra salvación. Él nos ofrece la oportunidad de beber de Su copa. En la Eucaristía, nos encontramos con Cristo personalmente y, si lo escuchamos, sabemos lo que significa tomar de Su copa. Muchas veces, significa nuestro propio sacrificio - como donar algo de nuestro tiempo, talentos o riquezas para hacer Su trabajo en la tierra.
