Which chapter of bankruptcy is it?

Which bk do you file to get full relief of the debts (full discharge) I dont havve any property I am trying to keep like a car or house.But I have heard some people say they had payments to make what payments are they talking about.I thought the bk wiped away your debts.Or does it??
