Our company enjoys lively interest from Delegations at home and abroad. In the course of this exchange, the emphasis is on learning from one another - and always looking outside of the box.
Essential Components of our Company policy include actively protecting the environment as well as ecological, social and economic sustainability. We use the public funding at our disposal economically and sensibly with regard to business objectives.
On the Market since 1981, we have been successful in our sector for more than 35 years - the result of a balanced relationship between generating our own funds and utilising public funding.
Wien Work integrative Betriebe und AusbildungsgmbH is a non-profit organisation working for the social economy with objectives concerning labour market policy.
On average, we employ around 670 Employees, of which approx. 170 are Trainees. Sixty per cent of employees and all apprentices have physical, sensory or learning disabilities, chronic illnesses or have been unemployed for long periods of time.
All employees receive an appropriate salary and as such are engaged in fully-fledged employment.
Our Company Objective: We create job opportunities for disadvantaged people on the job market and guide jobseekers experiencing difficulties into the open labour market.
Digital Media: your specialist for the production, processing and sale of prin-ted materials and complete dispatch of direct mail campaigns.
Facility Service: specialises in clea-ning technology, deep cleaning and park maintenance as well as indoor greenery.
Sewing & Upholstery: your creative workshop by the seaside sews promo-tional items and work clothing, covers upholstered furniture and works for and with designers
Laundry & Ironing Service: cleans and irons your clothes and provides a dishwashing service for the hotel and catering industries and other key clients.
Refurbishment: offers professional paintwork, tiling, parquet laying and cleaning, bricklaying and other repairs and refurbishments.
Gastronomy & Catering: offers the self-service restaurant “Speiseamt Seestadt”, group catering for care homes, canteens, schools and halls of residence.Michl’s Companies offer catering for companies and private clients, a restaurant and three cafés, as well as a canteen and the “Michl’s delivers” Delivery Service.
Wood Technology: manufactures and assembles kitchens and facilities for halls of residence as well as bespoke products for commercial and private clients.
Metal Technology: specialises in assembling, rotating, milling and cutting various materials such as steel, stainless steel, aluminium and plastics.

The Job Management team finds routes into a job, apprenticeship
or qualification for people at a disadvantage.
We find a Way. Together with our cli-ents, we attempt to find the most sui-table way forward, which sometimes may be a side-step into another project or another venture.
We are well connected. Cooperation with other specialist integration ser-vices and excellent collaboration with companies in industry are indispensab-le for our team’s success.
Our Strengths: We are integration professionals with the required exper-tise. Our team consists of more than 50 specialists with a great deal of ex-perience and specific training. We work with our clients on an equal footing, creating a win-win situation for all.
More than 50 employees in the Job Management team support people with disadvantages on their route to-wards a working life or (re-)entering the job market.
Our Focus. Advising, providing quali-fications for and reintegrating young people and adults with disabilities and other disadvantages.
Our Range of Offers. We primarily fo-cus on a wide range of different transi-tions including from school to a training course and from a qualification, a trai-ning work placement or trainee position at Wien Work directly into a job. Further examples include from unemployment straight into a job or setting up your own business. We also work on obtaining job positions that are under threat and advise companies with regard to sol-ving existing conflicts in the workplace.

Short-term Transition Posts with the socio-economic enterprise “Michl’s” (limited to six months).
Professional Qualification as part of the “Wien Work QualiTRAIN” projects (for adults) and “On the Job” (for young people).
Apprentice Positions as part of exten-ded industry-wide apprenticeship training. This training takes three to four years and concludes with a standard final apprenti-ceship exam for all apprentices, including those with learning disabilities or other difficulties with performance. There is also the possibility of partial qualification.
Our Aim: To sustainably increase the professional, personal and social com-petence of all employees.
Support and advice from the Company Welfare Program helps our employees to feel more stable.
Our employees hard of hearing are supported by our communication as-sistants in Austrian Sign Language to ensure exceptional communication.
In addition, our apprentices are also provided with Special Educational Support in order to work through and consolidate the content of their vocati-onal college studies.
