Puppies aren’t the only ones who can benefit
Just as Adaptil can help puppies adapt to a new home, Adaptil can also help older dogs adapt to all sorts of stressful situations
I shy away from new dogs“I used to belong to the litter
and now I’m all alone”
I peed on the floor
“I’m scared and anxious”
I can’t stop whining
“I miss my Mum”
“What I can’t tell you could have lasting effects”

There are many causes of stress in a puppy’s life1
• New home • New people• New routine • Unfamiliar sounds and experiences• Loneliness
Help your owners understand the language of puppy stress
Signs of ‘normal stress’ in puppies
The effect of early stress and anxiety can be lasting2
“ Lack of appropriate socialisation and training of puppies can lead to future problems such as fear, aggression, separation anxiety and aggression toward strangers (people and dogs).” 1

DAP can be part of your practice – with Adaptil
In the natural world, puppies have pheromones for comfort
• Pheromones are widespread in the animal kingdom, and are used to communicate between members of the same species
• The Dog-Appeasing Pheromone (DAP) is secreted from the sebaceous glands (between the mammary chains) of lactating bitches
• DAP is detected by the puppy and provides a calming effect
