“Do Something Different” That was the quote that started it all for us. While sitting around with our network of DJ's, we began discussing the current environment of the DJ scene, and in specific how it relates to the wedding and private party industry. One DJ stood up and said "I wish couples would do something different when booking a wedding DJ, and look to hire guys like us who play in the clubs. We throw the biggest parties in the Downtown scene week in and week out. Don't brides want to party?" With that, the idea was born. For as long as their have been Wedding DJ's, there has also been a stigma that goes along with it, and thus we have earned a reputation as being too over the top, too eccentric or cheesy, unprofessional and unorganized, "cookie cutter" in music selection with an A-Z playlist, and simply looked upon as an entertainer. Many brides even rank the DJ out of the top 10, when asked what they consider the 10 most important things going into your wedding and afterwards 97% regret not putting them in the top 2 or 3. Our owner, Adam Elliott, decided that it was time to show Columbus that the stero-type is simply not true, and that there is an over abundance of talented, professional working disc jockeys who are more than equipped to handle the biggest venues, biggest corporate events and the biggest weddings. With over 15 years of experience alone, Adam Elliott has personally played over 500 weddings, worked with the top industry artists, and has constantly worked in the Columbus nightlife in between bookings by holding residencies at the largest clubs in Ohio – most recently at The Park Street Complex .
