CHARACTERISTICS OF SHEEP

1. Dumb : You won't find sheep acts in the circus

because they can't be trained to perform.b. Sheep are singularly unintelligent and they don't

learn from mistakes but in fact often repeat them.

c. They tend to wander go astray and are unable to

find their way home to the sheepfold *even when

it is within sight!

Now that is dumb!

2. Defenseless : They have no claws like

cats or teeth like lions.

b. A sheep's bite is harmless. Most have

no horns. Unable to defend themselvesagainst attacks. *Lambs are especially

vulnerable and in need of protection.

c. They are in need of the shepherds

protection.

3. Drown easily : The wool soaks up the

water and they sink to the bottom.

b. If they get on their backs they

cannot right themselves.

c. Kicking and bleating doesn't help

although their cries can alert theshepherd who sets them on their feet

again.

developed instincts to warn them of

potential danger.

b. Often a sheep will wander into a briarpatch or fall over a cliffin the rugged

Palestinian hills.

shoulder, wrapped in his own long cloak
