Pandemic Planning
▶ Stockpile of pandemic supplies including N95-respirators
– Applied lessons learned from H1N1 and Ebola virus disease
– Measles outbreak in New York a year ago
▶ NYC is moderate-risk for Tuberculosis
– Use about 6000 N95-respirators a month (single use)
▶ Endemic for carbapenem-resistant Enterobacteriales and Candida
auris and historically had high rates of Clostridiodes difficile
– We use a lot of single use isolation gowns
