HIGH PRESSURE LAMINATE FACE PANELSHigh pressure laminate face panels provide a multipurpose, decorative

and highly durable finish that allows Spacesaver Wheelhouse™ High-Density

Mobile Storage Systems to be aesthetically and functionally integrated

into any working environment.

DESIGN AND CAPABILITIESSpacesaver’s High Pressure Laminate (HPL) face panels provide an alternative for finishing the faces and tops of mobile storage system ranges. The 3/4 inch (19 mm) thick panels feature particle board cores and an easy-to-clean, decorative WILSONART® surface. HPL panels conform to the National Electrical Manufacturers Association’s standards for resistance to surface wear, high temperatures, stains, impacts and abrasions, so they will withstand the wear and tear common in high traffic storage areas. They are available in a wide variety of designer colors to complement any decor. HPL fire retardant panels are also available.

1. As face panels.• with decorative tube spacers: powered and

mechanical assist systems require extra space between storage housings and face panels to accommodate system controls and safety devices. Manual systems require extra space to accommodate waist-high locks and future upgrades to mechanical assist or powered operation.

2. As canopy tops or counter tops when stationary or mobile ranges are work-surface height.

• with black T-mold edge banding: when panel edges are exposed.

• with unfinished edges: when panel edges are concealed or aligned adjacent to each other and a tight seam is desired.

HIGH PRESSURE LAMINATE FACE PANELS:All exposed ends (refer to drawings) shall have .040" (1.0 mm) thick high-pressure laminate panels (color to be selected from manufacturer’s standards) with a .030" (0.76 mm) backer applied to a 45 lb./cu. ft. (720 kg/m3) density particle board core. Panels shall be 3/4" (19 mm) thick, and all visible exposed edges shall be finished with decorative black tube spacers.
