WHEEL BEARING FILTRATION SKID Our WB-30 FILTRA-SKID filter unit is designed to reduce particulates from high viscous petroleum and synthetic fluids. It is simple, reliable and will remove particulates to target ISO levels of 18/15/11 or better*. Portable or Stationary Completely Automated For High Viscosity Oils to 130,000 cST It is well known that particle contamination reduces the service life of hydraulic and gearbox components. Some level of particle contamination is always present in these oils, even in new fluid. The level of contamination depends on the type of hydraulic system or gearbox. If foreign materials enter your system, critical responses are necessary to minimize the effects of destructive contaminants. Off-line or Kidney-loop methods are one of the best methods to reduce the solid contaminants. If the viscosity is very high, this can be handled by our Filtra-skid WB30. The oil is removed by a separate air-operated pump and drawn into the on-board reservoir. It is then heated slowly with a low-watt density heater so the oil is never damaged by this heat source. Once it reaches a benchmark temperature, the hydraulic pump begins to circulate the fluid until it reaches another benchmark temperature. This is when the filtration begins. Using two layers of top quality, world-class absolute rated filtration, we can remove solid particulate down to your desired ISO Cleanliness level within one to two hours. Oil is then ready to be returned to your equipment cleaned of most destructive debris.
