What is a CSA? Community Supported Agricul- ture (CSA) gives you and your fam- ily an opportunity to work directly with Clario Farms. Buying a share of healthy, organic and locally grown food from our farm helps to keep your food dollars in the local community, preserves natural re- sources and protects a family farm going forward. This reduces your “foodprint” by limiting the miles food must travel to reach your plate, and provides you with food that is fresher, tastier, more nutri- tious and convenient. CSA members make a commit- ment to support Clario Farms LLC throughout the season and assume the costs, risks and bounty of growing food along with us. Members help pay for seeds, fertilizer, irrigation, equipment maintenance, labor, etc. In return, the farm provides to the best of its ability a healthy and generous supply of sustainably grown, fresh produce throughout the grow- ing season. Becoming a member creates a responsible relationship between people and the food they eat, the land on which it is grown, and those who grow it. 2015 CSA SEASON Our 16 week growing season begins in mid June and runs into October.
