The Royal Spa Centre & Town Hall are operated exclusively by Warwick District Council for the benefit of residents of the District and visitors to the area.

We aim to bring the best available theatre and entertainment to audiences in central Warwickshire and the wider region and to offer those audiences a high quality experience when they visit us.

We are also the natural home for a wide range of local amateur arts and drama groups and other community organisations. 50% of the work we do at the Royal Spa Centre is actually with local community groups and we actively encourage participation in the performing arts.

The Town Hall is one of the most iconic and historic buildings on the Parade. Easily recognisable due to its distinctive clock tower, it is a popular venue for community events, meetings and functions and is also the home of The University of Warwick Learning Hub and Bromford Support.

the royal spa centre & town hall team look forward to welcoming you soon…

Starting out as an actor at the RSC, she went on to write and perform in her own television shows . Wax also script edited the entire series of ‘Absolutely Fabulous’. More recently she also become a mental health campaigner and gained a Masters degree in Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy from Oxford University. This show is based on her critically acclaimed book “Sane New World” which helps us understand why we sabotage our sanity with our own thinking. ‘Sane New World’ shows us how to rewire our thinking to find calm in a frenetic world and how to become the master, not the slave, of our own minds. This show is your passport to saner living. She might not be sane herself but she does a pretty good imitation!

if you enjoy your visits to the royal spa centre & town hall and care about our future why not become a royal spa centre & town hall ambassador?

If you have a little time to spare and would like to be more involved in helping us raise the profile of our work in the local community - we want to hear from you.

Our Ambassadors are valued members of the Royal Spa Centre & Town Hall team. By kindly volunteering a little of their time, our Ambassadors help us to spread the word and also represent the views of our community.

We will invite you to attend a briefing meeting at the beginning of each new season to discuss forthcoming shows, events and all aspects of our work. You will be encouraged to share ideas and suggest opportunities for promoting events. You will be invited to communicate regularly with the marketing department to pass on new contacts or information about events that are happening in your local area. You will also be invited to give feed back on shows that you’ve seen to help us develop. We also ask that you promote the theatre in your local area with posters and flyers that we will provide and, most importantly, encourage friends, family and colleagues to visit the theatre, particularly those who have never been here before.
