What's New in the PIC Design Suite Version 2021.03 Synopsys is driving the advancement of photonic integrated circuit technologies with its PIC Design Suite, which includes the OptSim Circuit and OptoDesigner tools. OptSim Circuit New features include: Support for thermal dependence in waveguide model file mode of operation New application note on the use of Linear Time Invariant (LTI) simulations in OptSim Circuit solution for photonic circuits. LTI can provide up to a 130x simulation speed improvement for application circuits New application note for silicon photonics market: Ring Resonator: Thermal Tuning New application note for the photonic IC sensor/filter market: Fabry- Perot Cavity Filter OptoDesigner OptoDesigner now provides enhanced support for thermal dependence in waveguide models' file-mode of operation. Linear Time Invariant (LTI) simulations in OptSim Circuit can provide up to a 130x simulation speed improvement for applications in photonic integrated circuits.     What's New in the PIC Design Suite Version 2021.03
