12.4 Special Services Update

Web Form Functionality◦ The editable fields are distinguishable by a box around

the area in which you can type.


Web Form Functionality◦ Currently cannot print from Open Forms◦ Printing must be done from Open Tasks Screen


Web Form Functionality – Multiline Text

◦ Multiline text fields are all at least 3 line text high to allow viewing of scroll bars across browsers. Printing will adjust accordingly to remove any excess white space


Web Form Functionality – Backspace Key

◦ If you press the Backspace key and you are not in an editable field, the screen returns to the previous Web page.

◦ You can use the forward button to return to previous page and your entered text should be there.


Web Form Functionality – Save Buttons

◦ The Save & Close and Save Form buttons will now continue to display on the screen as you scroll.


Web Form Functionality – Spell Check

◦ Availability based on browser. ◦ Internet Explorer does not offer Spell Check, however

Firefox and Safari does.◦ To check if spell check is available, right click on a word

to see the available options for Web forms.


Progress Codes removed from Progress Reports◦ 4, 6, & 8 Goal Formats◦ Now displays as free form text box◦ Existing forms not updated, will still display original

codes.


Favicon in the Browser Tab and URL

◦ Small SpecialServices logo, may appear in the browser tab and URL


Defects Resolved

◦ D2976 – Timeout Login Page was displaying when hitting “Save” or “Save & Close” for MAC/Safari

◦ D3101– When selecting, deselecting and selecting again on the “Child Will Be Tested” section of IEP 12 the Verify EMIS displayed “OFF”, “-1” in the Type of Assessment Column

◦ D3009 and D2996 – When a user updated the effective dates on a CFE’d WEP the dates did not change on the Print Preview

◦ D3248– Users were unable to edit effective dates when Progress Reports wereCFE’d

12.4 ProgressBook GradeBook

Newly Added Assessments & Grading Scale Setup◦ New Assessment(s) will display in yellow

All will display in yellow the first time Grading Scale Setup is performed at the beginning of the school year.

If a new assessment is added after Grading Scale Setup has been completed by the teacher only the new assessments will display in yellow.


Recalculate Grade Books◦ New window displays recalculation progress◦ Ability to navigate in GradeBook◦ Cannot recalculate same school or another school while

recalculating◦ Ability to log out and log onto another district, will

continue running.◦ Defect corrected to not time out after 2 hours


Excluded Assignments posted to ParentAccess◦ On the Assignment Marks screen if set to

Excluded/Post for a student or entire class◦ Corrected to now display Excluded on

ParentAccess


Custom Setup 2 Assignment Marks◦ Marks entered as zero in assessment columns will

now total to 0 for the default assessment
