WHAT'S NEW IN PLETT - 7 JULY 2011 www.helloplett.co.za

Lots of happy happenings at this time of year. The right whales continue to arrive on their annual mi-gration and sojourn in the Bay, delighting all as they spot the spray, the tails and the joyful jumps...and the very first baby whale of the season was born on Wednesday (yesterday) morning near the mouth of the Keurbooms River. Mom and calf should be there for 5-6months if undisturbed. The Crags Festival was lots of fun. Well done on the initiative. We got some great locally made jewellery, a great photo and yummy stuff to enjoy. Super atmosphere with our local Band too. Don’t miss this Sunday 10th ! Our neighbours in Knysna are in full swing with their Oyster Festival. Lots of fun and festivity… Really nice to see all the cyclists cruising on the N2 out to the Crags on Sunday. Inspirational! The Wedge happens from Sunday Never a dull moment in this paradise called Plett.! PS Hopefully we’ll be able to report next week that our second Council Meeting finally happened. (Remember to pray for our leaders… that’s our job as citizens !)

Letter via the Editor Plett Potholes We read a letter from one of your readers who was thanking Gerrie Sweigers for his prompt attention in getting some potholes repaired in her area. Could we please ask him to do a trip up Piesang Valley as there are so many holes in that road that it is an obstacle course and could cause an accident by somebody swerving out into oncoming traffic. High Street has also got the same situation. While I am on the subject of traffic, would it be possible for some more speed trapping on Odland Drive. Everybody slows down for the fixed camera and then accelerates down the road and 60-80km is the norm. I have to drive into Central Beach from the bottom of the hill and have nearly been hit by uncaring motorists and the strange thing is that most of them have CX numbers and local firms names on the trucks. I know there is always talk about cops hiding in the bushes with their cameras, but in this case I think it is essential that they do exactly that at the bottom of the hill so that they cannot be seen by the motorists going in either direction. Only by hitting these motorists in their pocket might bring a bit a sanity to the driving on Odland Drive. THE ADJUSTMENT BUREAU This convincing romance is set against a sci-fi background. A failed politician meets a young woman and they hit it off. They don't see each other again for three years, but this time around they set about building a relationship. Unfortunately, the hidden powers of the universe do not want this romance, and take active steps to prevent it happening. The lovers, however, desperately want each other and find themselves fighting powerful forces for the right to choose their own destinies. Although the film has strong sci-fi elements, it is more of a romantic thriller.

Letter via the Editor Jet Ski’s to scare our Whales and Dolphins Is it possible that in this supposedly environmentally friendly town of Plettenberg Bay, we or even worse, the municipality [who should protect] has given permission for jet skiers to have a race on Saturday 16th July, around our Bay during the Whale Season? A whole day race, just off our beaches! This race tagged on the Wedge Surfing competition? Surfing fine, but jet skis, No! We are most proud of the fact that we still have whales coming to calve in our Bay during the winter months, June to October. Hawaii managed to frighten off their whales and dolphins permanently with these reverberating machines, despite the warnings by marine biologists and other expert advisors. We have had seriously eminent marine scientists and consultants draw up a management plan for our Bay which specifically excludes jet skis! But now our municipality has gone ahead and approved a race for these noisy and environmentally damaging craft! Please people of Plett do not allow this race to set a precedent that will be hard to stop in our future! Save our whales! PINEDENE STORAGE Safe, secure, easy access on tar road near Airport. community decided to take matters into their own hands and so many dogs were killed with bricks, sticks, pangas and whatever they could find. As there are about 200 unwanted dogs in the Qolweni area and surrounds, we have decided to remove these animals and hu-manely euthanize them. Rather this, before the communities behave in the same way as in Cape Town. This is the worst task ever to complete, but it just has to be done. The 18 year old that poured a pot of boiling water over the German Shepherd last year, will again appear in court on the 7th. Let's hope that Mr Goosen, the Magistrate, will take note that we are serious about perpetrators being punished for behaviour of this nature, toward any animal. Please mark your calenders for the protest against the Pitbull Fighters for the 15th July. There will be media coverage and we need to make others aware that we will not accept this type of behaviour in our town. Dogfighting is a premeditated, cruel and abhorrent practice that has no place in a civilized society. Dogfighting is mislabled as an issue only of animal rights and abuse, not taking into account the effects of dogfighting and the crimes associated with it. Snippets for the Week Thought we were more than a third complete with Kwanokuthula's spays, but noticed so many houses that were not on the street map, given to me by the Municipality. Once I received the new updated map from the land surveyors, what a shocker! Nevertheless, we continue to spay daily - one road at a time. Thank you to everyone who contributes in any way, to enable us to continue with this vital project. How sad to have read about the toddler that was killed by dogs in an informal settlement recently. Africa Clockwise and Pierrot McClown Mark Sampson Africa Clockwise Is Mark Sampson’s Africa Clockwise a stand-up comedy show? Or a show about taking his family in a giant green 10-ton truck around Africa in a clockwise direction? Or a show about how the wisdom of Africa can show us the way to cope with climate change? The answer is all of the above. Our ecological clock is ticking, but don’t be alarmed. This laughter-packed, renewable-powered off-the-grid ECOmedy will make you feel so much better about the end of the world as we know it… Mark Sampson is a master of taking unwieldy subjects, and turning them into comedy gold. His previous hit show Missing Links explored 6 million years of evolution, while Feels Funny tackled depression – both were sell-out successes at Grahamstown. In Africa Clockwise, SA’s most adventurous and thought-provoking comedian continues his revolutionary journey in his most demanding quest yet. Come and discover how Sampson plans to challenge his children to cope with climate change around the coast of Africa as well as challenging his audience to ‘BEAT THE HEAT’ as the anti-consumer host of a crazy global warming gameshow. And just

Letter via the Editor Customer Complaint I am appalled by the differences and escalation of prices of ordinary foods in Plettenberg Bay. Shocking to think basic foods and needed product prices have gone up more than one hundred percent over four years. I went shopping in Knysna (not regular visitor) and was amazed at the huge difference in prices of coffee, sugar, toilet paper and cereal for example. I paid R39.99 for a box of Weetbix and in Plett the very same box costs R44.99? Toilet paper 2ply x4 costs R21.99 in Plett R26.99? Need I go on? Surely there should be some kind of regulation to prevent this kind of abuse and greed! We live in Plett, certainly we are not wealthy because we live here. I check prices all the time, buying specials where possible. What to do when the prices just escalate? Not to support locally? I cant wait for shops to open in New Horizon so we could make our way there. Plett has lost the plot in so many ways. So sad, for it is such a lovely place, outside the greed and selfishness of the people! Vision and discernment being the most valuable of all!

Thank You Celia Buso of the New Beginnings home in Kwanokatula for abandoned little children, would like to thank TTS Plett and Kwikot Knysna for the generous discount on a geyser. She would also like to thank Freddi the plumber for donating his labour so generously.

G. Whatt (It is difficult to compare prices if one does not know whether the goods were on special or not. Is the price difference between 2 similar chain stores? We’d like to get more details—Ed)

work with an affordable menu and wine list for our times - We want our food to be incredible and the wine list should consist of ‘hard-to-come-by’ wines you will want to drink. We as a family at the new Mivola have put in a lot of hard work and plenty of hours into making our place not just any restaurant, but a warm welcoming home for our guests and will hopefully, in time, win the hearts of locals and tourists alike. We are situated in Mellvilles Corner, opposite the Dolphin Circle in the Main Street. Bookings. 044 533 5056 CK NAILS at home or in town! Gel, fibre dip, silk, mani's, & pedi's! Unbeatable prices! People who do come to the restaurant are very impressed with the food, the decor and the new face of the restaurant. But the face, food and decor do not match the name. This restaurant is no longer Miguel’s. It has become a different entity entirely and now it needs a new name to match its new persona. Mivola to us represents taking something and making it our own. Keeping Local Lekka - We only uses local suppliers, we believe in keeping things local and supporting our community. - Also, thanks to our local suppliers’ ingenuity, we are able to use mostly organic vegetables and only organic leafy vegetables from the wonderful Prince Farms. - As well as organic vegetables we only use grass fed beef and lamb from Bayside Meat Market so you are guaranteed the most succulent tasty meat available which is so much healthier than the grain fed alternative. Our milk is another special product from Cairnrogie Farm in Plett who have started producing the most delicious safe alternative to pasteurized milk in the form of raw purified milk. Not only is it so good for you its amazingly tasty too. The dream for Mivola is to become a restaurant known for making incredible food and having the best personal service available in Plettenberg Bay. - We really want to make ‘Mivola’

Miguels evolves to become MIVOLA Many folk may know that Candice and her team are now running the old Miguels , but may not know much about this vibrant hard working young lady. After cooking her first 3 course meal at 8 years old, she believes her course was set. She studied at Silwood cooking school to become a chef because it was all she ever wanted to do in life. She has worked in all departments of a restaurant from waiter and barlady, to baker, pastry, sous and head chef and now as a restaurant owner. The last and most significant restaurant Candice worked in was A Tavola in Cape Town. After working in Cape Town, Candice had a happy stint in rural Uganda working in an orphanage for 3 months, in a village called Bulenga. There was no running water, electricity or even ablutions, but she says “ It was the most enriching experience of my life and I would have stayed longer but I got Malaria and was quarantined and sent back to S.A. One day I would love to go back.” While recovering she heard about Miguels being closed and it was suggested she open it for season. Candice was a regular visitor to Plett for 22 years. It has always been her second home , so Candice was keen to give it a go. After spending time here, she fell in love with Plett again, the people, her staff and what slowly has become her restaurant. Although Candice is the chef, she says : I am not the only one responsible. Her father and mother have both been involved her brother worked there for a short while. But perhaps more importantly the people who have helped build this restaurant are the staff that have come through here and most importantly the staff that are still here from the beginning. They are an amazing group of people, they work so hard when need be and are creative in their own right.

The following letter was sent to the chief prosecutor of the Southern Cape by our Community Policing Forum Chairman. Re: Shocking Bungle Sees Criminals Walk on Plett Killing I attach extracts from the Herald and CXpress newspapers dated the 25th May and 1st June 2011 respectively which clearly set out the reason for my addressing this letter to you. As a former Prosecutor and Magistrate I am perhaps in a better position than most to understand the extent of the incompetence and disregard for proper procedure which appear to have been displayed by the Knysna control Prosecutor, and quite possibly others, in this debacle which led to the release of dangerous criminals back onto the streets of our town, the destruction of the dignity of a court of law and made a mockery of judicial process in South Africa. The murder of Beverley Sapphire caused severe shock waves in the Plettenberg Bay community who are unaccustomed to violent crime, which shock was to some extent mollified by the subsequent arrest and detention of the suspects after some very astute work by the investigating details in the South African Police Service. To subsequently learn that the suspects, amongst which were criminals with a history of violent crime, were released as a result of what appears to be an uncaring and cavalier attitude on the part of the prosecuting staff in Knysna, has been a severe slap in the face for the Plettenberg Bay community. I am sure that I do not need to point out that the following consequences can and do flow from an incident of this nature:- It is quite conceivable that other victims may

become subject to violent crime and be murdered whilst the police seek to re-arrest the suspects. I am aware that two of the suspects have been re-arrested to date but anticipate that the arrest of the remaining suspects may be a protracted an difficult exercise. The detection and arrest of suspects of this type is a time consuming and expensive exercise for SAPS and to have to repeat the exercise is both a frustrating and disheartening exercise for the police who, with resources stretched to the limit, undoubtedly have other important tasks to which they need to attend. Loss of confidence in the judicial process and consequent frustration which can lead to vigilante activity such as is currently being experienced in certain areas of the Eastern Cape. The judicial process becoming a source of contempt for criminals who may well be led to feel somewhat confident that they can commit crimes with reasonable prospects of “getting away with it” owing to lack of competence in the execution of the judicial process. The impairment of the dignity of the court as occurred in this case. South Africa does not have an enviable crime committed to successful prosecution ratio and with the apparent cavalier attitude adopted to the successful prosecution of the criminals in question, it is no wonder that we have a burgeoning crime problem. For the above reasons, in the view of the

Plettenberg Bay CPF, this matter needs to be thoroughly investigated and appropriately dealt with in order to not only send a clear message to those involved in the judicial process that this type of incompetence will be subject to the severest sanction and will not be tolerated but also to send a message of comfort to the general populace of South Africa. This is not the first adverse comment that has been communicated to me regarding the performance of said prosecutor and it is requested that I be advised of the results of investigations to date and that you keep me updated on the disciplinary measures applied to the responsible persons so that the outcome of the exercise can be communicated to the residents of our town and hopefully some confidence restored in the judicial process. In closing it is worth repeating the words of the defence Attorney, Daan Dercksen:- “The light handed manner in which the State handled the case boils down to not only contempt of the Magistrate, but contempt of the Court and its procedures.” In closing I record that a copy of this letter will be sent to the press in Plettenberg Bay in order that the residents of the town can be informed of the steps which the CPF is taking to address this matter. I look forward to hearing from you Yours sincerely N.B. Richardson—Chairman Plettenberg Bay Community Police Forum. cc Colonel Prins Plettenberg Bay SAPS The following reply was received from the Chief Prosecutor: RE: Prosecution Bungle in Knysna Court resulting in the release of the suspects in the murder of Beverely Sapphire Dear Mr Richardson, Thank you for your email, the contents thereof duly noted. I do not want to shy away from any responsibility in this regard. I have commenced with investigations in this regard, but have not concluded that process. I share your sentiments expressed in your email, and have already implemented certain stringent directives to prevent a repeat or a similar occurrence in the future. I hope to limit the damage caused to its absolute maximum. It is however, an extreme and complex process to monitor from a Managerial position. Each and every Stakeholder must accept full responsibility for his/her role and or function in this regard. I undertake to keep you informed of any relevant developments in this regard. Kind regards. BJ Walters - Chief Prosecutor-George Cluster

Crags anti-snare project Hi there all readers and nature lovers. Just popping in to report on the surrounding nature that we all love and enjoy. The poaching activity in the Crags has been slowly gaining momentum with regards to snares and traps. A snare swoop was done on the hiking trail from Rocky Road Backpackers to Kurland Village. This route was chosen because of the recent poachers that were spotted slaughtering a bush pig a few weeks ago. Along the route, the first snare was spotted not far from Rocky Road and fortunately not many were recovered after that. However, it is clear that there is poaching activity in this area. The walk was an amazing and brilliant hiking route. This route has some technical difficulties, but is suitable for people that are generally hiking fit ready to tackle some steep and rocky areas. I must mention that there was a point in the hike where the scenery became depressing due to the amount of rubbish we had to walk through. Near the end of the hike we came out into the area where the next housing phase is to be built at Kurland Village. This area has quite a serious problem regarding both household and builders waste. It seems as if it is just ‘dumped’ there. I will be contacting the ward representative to find out what can be done, as this is creating an environmental problem and affecting the eco system. I think

this means I am now going to be tackling a clean-up project too!! Any volunteers?? Jumping back to the snares and poaching, local farmers in the Crags area have made a breakthrough with regards to poaching on their property. Lots of snares were recovered too! The next snare swoop will be in a few weeks, anyone is welcome. If you love hiking and want to assist please contact me at [email protected]. I will place you on the snare swooping team. I would like to thank Rocky Road Backpackers, Orca Foundation, Ingwe Forest Adventures and Southern Crags Conservancy for assisting and contributing support in this project. Letter via the Editor Minimum wage. Dear Roger Davis Do you have a labour broking business which is hiring out illegal staff at half price, or are you planning to set yourself up as such? In your letter you clearly state that the illegal immigrants are the ones in England that are working at half recommended wage. They are obvious exploited because they are illegal. Are you saying that the Dole system in England is helping to make the English more productive while the illegal immigrants do the work. Not sure if all this is just to create debate or if you actually believe all the stuff you write about…. Confused PS If we could find 50 people prepared to work at half price, do you have jobs waiting for them? EVER WANTED to try Skimboarding? Handsdown Skimboarders will be at the Wedge Classic doing clinics & demos - Get to da beach!! wedgeclassic.co.za HÉLÈNE SERFONTEIN Physiotherapy. 084 514 7098

Letter via the Editor To whom it may concern It is with alarm that we have learnt of the upcoming Jet ski race advertised by Plett Tourism. As we are all well aware the whale season is upon us, and there are already regular sightings of whales in our bay . We can not imagine why the Bitou Municipality would allow a jet ski race to take place during this time, when whales are drawn to our bay as a safe harbour in which to give birth to and nurse their young. The whale season is a very popular time for international and local tourists to visit and the whales frolicking in the bay are a very strong draw card for visitors to come to Plett in an otherwise cold and quiet time of year. Jet skis have been identified by marine conservation specialists as disturbing and disruptive to dolphin and whales, due to the high pitched, high decibel sound that interferes with whales and dolphin who use sound to navigate. As such the marine conservationists in our area have put clear regulations in place as to where jet skis may launch and operate. This event blatantly circumvents these regulations by allowing a jet ski race in an area earmarked as off limits by marine authorities and during the most sensitive and critical period of time for the migrating whales. If the whales are disrupted during their calving, we run the risk that they will flee our bay and if they do so, there is no guarantee that they will return during this season or in the future. This could potentially have an adverse effect on tourism at this time of year. Tourists come to Plett

to experience the beautiful natural environment, not to see jet skis racing! The evidence for this is clear as Plett has been nominated as a finalist in the 'Leading Beach destination in Africa' category of the World Travel Awards. We are very happy that Plett hosts the body-boarding competition of the Wedge Classic, it is precisely the kind of event that Plett needs and that should be promoted in this area, however this does not mean that all other longterm goals and concerns should be ignored. Let the body boarding continue by all means but put an end to the jet ski race for the sake of tourism and of the natural environment. Positivity is the secret to a longer life Researchers from the University of Georgia have found that a positive attitude and the ability to cope with stress are greater predictors of longevity than medical history. Bitou Business Buzz SAD...was my comment, tragic was the reply from the person I was talking to. We were discussing the adjournment of the second Council meeting which was rescheduled for the following Monday. On that day, once more, the meeting turned into a fiasco with the result that not a single item on the agenda was discussed. Three days wasted with over a hundred people going back to their destination wondering what the eventual outcome will be. The majority are not impressed with the performance of the people they have selected and subsequently voted for. A council is established to deal with the everyday problems and concerns of a municipality and is paid by the rate payers who naturally expect their interests to be looked after and their hard earned cash not wasted on a futile exercise of arranging a meeting where councillors shout and point fingers at each other. Even at the inception, of what is to be a five year period, lawyers were involved...more money! An interesting item on the radio was the interview of the Auditor

all dolled up, just dying to see all those gorgeous guys that used to be in my class and those girls who had it all. I could not believe the "old age home" I walked into. When they lept into my arms I felt like I was being molested by total strangers. Of course as we all sat around the table, the reminiscing started and I just stared - surely that bald guy, with badly fitting yellow teeth could not be my beloved Pierre. Must be his father. The next morning while I was combing my hair and thinking about that poor old man posing as Pierre, I glanced in the mirror and good heavens that is another thing, they do not make mirrors like they used to. Another thing, everyone drives so fast these days. You risk life and limb if you happen to pull onto the freeway in front of them. Their brakes must wear out awfully fast, the way I see them screech and swerve in my rear view mirror. Clothing manufacturers have no idea either. All the clothes are so small - I find that I have to buy size 40 these days and I am actually a 36. Do they not notice that these things no longer fit around the waist and hips? The people who make the bathroom scales are also at fault. They all seem to be broken and give the wrong weight - I move them to hard surfaces, soft surfaces, same problem. I have returned so many for being faulty. Try phoning someone to complain and you will find that the phone book companies are in on this plot too. The print in their books is so small it is impossible to read and when I was advised to ring another number to get the correct

Life in Plett The coffee ladies have returned from their meandering and so went off there the other day with Beloved. Alles is nog in die hak. I have a friend who now lives in Aberdeen in the Karoo. What a jump from Johannesburg city slicker to Karoo housewife. Anyway if that makes her tick. She and I used to giggle over this piece of information we read somewhere and kyk hoe lyk ons nou. Have you ever noticed that at a certain age everything seems uphill from where you are? Stairs are steeper and groceries get heavier. Everything seems further away like my friend Glors farm. It used to be ten minutes out of town - not anymore, it now takes me a half hour. I walked to the corner yesterday with the dogs and could not believe how long our street had become. People seem to be less considerate now, especially the young ones. They speak in whispers all the time! - you ask them to speak up, they just keep repeating themselves, endlessly mouthing the same silent message - do they think I am a lip reader? I also think they are much younger than I was at the same age. They are prettier and more handsome than we were. On the other hand, people my own age are so much older than I am. I saw an old friend the other day and she had aged so much she did not even recognize me. I also went to a school re-union and got

FAX & PHOTOCOPY SERVICE Conservation Corner The power of animals Why are we amazed when meeting a wild animal? Why do we love our pets so much? Animals are something special and we all like them, they have some kind of good vibe around them. It is this good and positive energy of the animals that has spurred the emergence of Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT). AAT is designed to promote improvement in human physical, emotional, social and/or cognitive functioning, with the aim of facilitating patients' progress towards

therapeutic goals. Sterreweg knows this, which is why they allow access to animals for all the kids at the day care centre. It started with the horseback riding on Thursday; later on they got a fish tank and now they are waiting to get one or two tortoises in their garden. Thanks to Orca Foundation for the help and giving the kids the chance to meet and take care of these special animals. 24 HOUR CRISIS LINE -Drug Addiction, Alcoholism, Depression, Relationships & Obsessions. Birds of Eden sent us this thought provoking article written by someone in the USA … Stop! Don’t rush to buy a Parrot. Food for thought for parents… “Rio,” the new 3D animated film about parrots from 20th Century Fox opened recently and has done impressive box office business. When it comes to kids and their unending desire to own what they like, it doesn’t matter how noble the underlying message, it’s as if there never was one. You’d think their parents would throw some sense into the equation but, alas, that doesn’t seem to happen either. Here’s a good example what can happen. In this case it was wild parrots: Sulphur-crested cockatoos were drained from Indonesian islands when the hit TV series Baretta was on in the 1970s because the title character had one that talked and responded when spoken to. 25 years later the populations have not bounced back and the Sulphur-crested are on the endangered species list. The show wasn’t even on TV that long, just 3 years from 1975-78. Parrot rescues across the US, 1500+ of them, are filled to capacity

with unwanted birds. Why? Because parrots are wild animals and do not take well to domestication. They do not make good pets. Even so, according to the bird breeders themselves, they are still churning out 2 million birds a year. Do you know how many unwanted parrots are waiting for homes , and many have been turned over to Sanctuaries. Please do not buy parrots on impulse because you don’t know what you are getting into. Parrots are loud, need as much attention as a 2 year old (for 50 years), are destructive, loud, and, most of all they aren’t like the adorable characters in “Rio.” “Rio” is putting parrots into people’s minds, let’s direct the awarness to benefit parrots here and in the wild! Mira ~

Mangold Point

Letter via the Editor Jet Ski Racing Are we crazy? Why would Plett want jetskis racing in the Bay during the Whale season? The whale watching industry brings a lot of money into our town and is enjoyed by all. Jetskis are toys of a small percentage of adrenalin seeking people who can afford it. Are we going to harass our whales for a silly race that few can actually follow anyway. Come on Plett. Let’s get our priorities right. Who gave permission for this to happen? Our new Council? Our Old Council? Whoever it was, it should never have happened. If there was permission given, retract it on the grounds of no public consultation, and if there was no permission given, make sure it does not happen! Everyone loves “the Wedge! “ Don’t lets spoil this happy annual event by thoughtless actions. WINTER SPECIAL (40% discount @ the Dunes Wellness Centre. Massage, aroma, deep tissue, mani, pedi. Please diarise the 15th of July, 8h30 at the Magistrate Courts - Plettenberg Bay. The criminals who used their Pit-bulls to gain finan-cial reward, will again appear in court. We need to protest against animal cruelty and speak up for these innocent dogs. Please support this very worthy cause.

Letter via the Editor Bouquet It is tempting these days to think that by making travel bookings on the internet you will save time and money. Luckily, we turned to Harvey World Travel to assist with the arrangements for my daughters’ overseas trips. And thank goodness we did as they were truly amazing! The arrangements became quite complex and there were many changes to the plan. The team of Michelle, Mandy and Kim were absolutely superb. And if one of them was not in office or busy, the others knew exactly what was going on at all times so they could pick up seamlessly. They accepted every challenge and went the extra mile every time. They made our business a priority ever time with a smile and encouragement. They also knew the best way to go about every detail which saved novices like us a good deal of money and pitfalls. I have dealt with them for over 10 years and they just get better and better. This is refreshing in a world where service levels have become a bit of a joke. Amazing Customer Care which does Plett proud. Well done and thank you ladies!!!! Shanette, Giverny and Skye

Letter via the Editor Work out your own Salvation! I read ‘On this day’ in your paper, last week and am inspired to write. If we are to claim our rightful place in Light and Life right here, right now, it would be impossible to stand together for, sadly many have gone so far astray, that turning will only be possible by sincere commitment and obedience to Our Mighty God of Creation. We have to play our part and few do! By doing this we may also experience Divine intervention from God and stand in His Holy Light. That way only, may you claim your greatness! You would not feel left out as this article suggests! Sadly the world’s people are so deceived in believing they could just bulldoze ahead, believing anything they wish and doing as they please, in order to have this Life Eternal. The Word of God says: “Work out your own Salvation! ” Do not wait for your friend to shine a light so you may follow. Make a conscious decision yourself, today, to follow your maker and rather please God! Stop trying to please men or get recognition from man! They will not be able to save you in death! “All else will follow!” Those who truly believe and follow the Word, as it was from the beginning, are saved from a wicked, idol, adulterous world, which will end, to make way for abundant life here on earth, in all its glory in the presence of our Maker. This was meant from the beginning of creation of mankind for His creatures! This master plan is now being fulfilled right here, right now! The promise of the Holy Spirit! “ With God everything is possible.” But it is on His terms, not yours anymore! AGAPE. Thea OLD & NEW we buy & sell below Absa 044 533 3196
