To avoid incurring fees for non-sufficient funds, be sure you have the available funds in your account when making payments.

Card skimming incidents are on the rise. Fraudsters often target ATMs, gas pumps and self-checkout terminals where card readers are not actively mon-itored. To safeguard your card information, choose the “credit” option rather than the “debit” so that your PIN won’t be required. Also, when keying in your PIN at an ATM, cover the keypad with your other hand to block anyone, or a camera, from viewing the numbers you enter.
