Share the Care: Once upon a time, there was a little baby boy.

Sometime after his birth, the doctors discovered he had cancer. When he

was only nine, he lost all of his hair; even his eyebrows were gone. When

he went to school, he was teased – he had no friends. Then one day, a

little girl came up to him and asked, “Why don’t you have any hair?” He

kindly told her he had cancer. The girl said, “Aw! Do you want to be

friends?” The boy said sure. She stood up for him when he was bullied or

made fun of. They had a great friendship together.

Eleven years later, when he was twenty and the girl was sixteen,

tragedy struck. His health decreased, and she had to take care of him. He

had to stay in bed all of the time. His cancer was so bad, he almost could

not do anything! Then, a decade later, he was rushed to the hospital

around twelve o’clock midnight, because his heart stopped in mid-beat! He

was slowly dying. Around three o’clock, his time on Earth ended. At first

the girl was heartbroken, but when she was finished mourning, she put

together a mini-thon to raise money for cancer.
