Chesterfield Well DressingChesterfield, 13-20 September

Head to scenic Chesterfield for this ancient custom unique to Derbyshire. Chesterfield began well dressing in 1864 when the Town Pump in the Market Place was decorated after a very dry summer. Displays take place at the ‘Crooked Spire’ Church porch and on the Market Place.
