The mission of this website is to provide resources for recreational thera-

pists that are recent and relevant. Here you can find group ideas, 1:1 ideas,

community resources, instructional videos, and professional resources.

This website will be most successful if others take the time to contribute. If

everyone would send in at least one intervention idea or valuable resource,

then we could get a large database going. Submissions can be sent to

[email protected] or submitted through the website

https://rtinterventions.wixsite.com/home You can also connect through

Instagram”RTINTERVENTIONS“

One great idea already shared on this website is the creation of Embrace Groups that bring Recreation

Therapists together to support each other monthly. To embrace is to accept or support, willingly and

enthusiastically. Let's embrace each other on this fun and unpredictable therapeutic journey as we help

bring purpose to the lives of others. Our first group will start in Austin, Texas. Goal of group? Meet for 60

minutes one time per month to share experiences, bounce ideas off each other, seek advice, network, and

enjoy social connections. Can't find a group near you? Email me, Christi Zwicke, [email protected]

for help on getting one started.

Meetings are planned for 1 hour. However, anyone is welcome to stay later by personal choice. Let's be

honest, these may run a bit longer with a bunch of awesome recreation professionals!
