Our collection of brand new Discovery Journeys is ideal for first-time and seasoned Insight travelers who like to explore a wide variety of iconic destinations and must-see sights.

For 2018, we’ve created eight new Discovery Journeys with included stops in trending destinations such as Cinque Terre, San Sebastian, Provence, the Italian Lake District and Croatia. Each new itinerary also boasts a range of new immersive experiences that allow you to really get to know each destination. For example, in Paris you’ll join a local foodie on a gourmet tasting exploration and in Tuscany you’ll uncover the secrets of Italian cooking during a cooking master class. Other new experiences to look forward to include meeting the owner of a castle along the Rhine River, enjoying a Dine-at-Home experience in Budapest and Rome, and sipping Bellinis in Venice’s St. Mark’s square long after the day-trippers have returned to their mainland hotels.

• For 2018, we’ve partnered with VizEat to bring you exceptional Dine-at-Home experiences with locals in Budapest, Salzburg and Rome.

• On all our Country Roads itineraries, you can look forward to Farm-to-Table dining, hosted by local producers and chefs. For example, in Rapallo you’ll enjoy an authentic, family-style dinner at a local trattoria where fresh ingredients combine with traditional recipes for a true Italian food experience. In the French Vineyard of Avignon you’ll be treated to a fabulous dinner prepared with locally-sourced ingredients and served with wines from the region.
