The rise of “health celebrities” and their “secrets” is proof even very bright people are still hurting more than their helping by spewing information at a break neck pace all for personal branding. With no fundamentals there is no true health.

Diets do nothing to change the addictive cycle of our thoughts because their theory is based on binging or “stressful restrictions.”

The Human Ecosystem

We are a colony of bacteria and human cells.

90 trillion cells in the body of which only 10 trillion are human.

Research is connecting many “dots” that our brain is taking it’s cues from this bacteria.

If our human cells are outnumbered by 80 trillion bacterial cells then who is in control??

Yes… I am rehashing this because this is where you and your students will get hung up the most.

80-90% of Serotonin is found in the digestive tract

Serotonin is considered to be the happy chemical

When serotonin is low, we crave junk food which in turn harms our gut and brain through toxicity. When we eat properly we may see an increase in Serotonin from by having a healthier microbiome.

TIPS FOR SUCCESS•Choose whole foods as opposed to preprocessed foods.

• 30 minutes at moderate intensity = 5,000 steps

• Exercise at least 5 days per week at a moderate intensity level

• Use a tracking tool such as a pedometer or Fitbit

Understanding how come people quit or can’t commit!We live in a world that :• wants perfection without practice,• wants drama instead of peace,• wants food that doesn't feed,• wants peace without self love,• wants to grow with no change,• wants truth with no foundation,• wants to externalize versus personalize.This is not negative, this is a positive because thatmeans we have the ability to accept what isand teach what can work and never run out of people to work with.

Your students will learn more thru grace than shame.

Make goals simple. Your potentially undoing years and years of false or possible diet related programming. Walk with walkers, crawl with crawlers. If you can do this with a child, you can do it with an adult.

Laugh at yourself. Humor is the great equalizer and allows for more authentic connection with your students. “Every class should have laughter”

Learn from your students by hearing them. What you will give them through this course can change their life forever.

When you run into “challengers” and you will, handle it with grace and recognize the part of them that is fighting you in a class “they” wanted to be in, is the part of them that carries the most healing potential. Diffuse them through being honest about your own journey, the mistakes you have made and how come you keep moving forward.
