ALOHA ! The 3rd Quarter Started with a bang with new year bash & amazing spirit of Fellowship all round the area. The recognitions recd. at NAGM - RANG DE BASANTI was icing on the cake. Record participation from Area 3 @ 54th NAGM (Over 50+ heads ) Area 3 Table’s recognised across all facets in NAGM with Fellowship, Extension, BOB Chandra , Twinkler, FTE, Best Table Secretary, Best HRD’s and Balanced Activity Award. AREA # 3 now comprising of26 tables will be re-organised in two strong area effective 1st July 2016.

‘STARS OF AREA 3’ AMPM of PURT 144 made AREA 3 Proud by winning the ‘GLAMORAMA’ competition at 54th NAGM in Delhi.. Their performance was par excellence.

INAUGRATION OF ‘SAATHI RT GURUKOOL’ RAIPUR ROUND TABLE 169

Raipur RT 169 Inaugurated a 4 Classroom Block in a tribal hamlet 220 kms from Raipur in Kondagaon, Bastar.

The event was graced by RTI NS Tr. Christopher, NPC Tr. Akshay, AC A3 Tr. Hitesh, Area Jewel Karan Gehani and Tablers from RCRT 241.

The School is called Saathi Round Table Gurukul started in 2005 by a rural NGO in association with Raipur Round Table 169. The Table has so far constructed over 14 Classrooms besides Toilet Blocks. RLC 90 has provided many amenities including desks, benches and sports kits.

The event started with a Puja done by NS, followed by Inaugural ceremony and mind boggling cultural program by school children. The event was covered in detail by all leading newspapers including Times of India.

THE BIG GUYS ! True to their words National Secretary Tr. Chris & National Project Convener Tr. Akshay were in Area 3 for the inauguration of RT 169 School Block in Raipur with AC Tr. Hitesh and Jewel Karan.

‘ BHOOMI PUJAN OF ITC - RTI PILOT PROJECT’ P U N E U N I T E D R O U N D TABLE 144

The Bhoomi Pujan of the ITC-RTI Pilot project at Sonesanghvi, Pune took place on 26th January at 9:30 AM.

PURT 144 have been able to raise highest single contribution of ₹ 60 Lakh from ITC for our upcoming school Project at Sonesanghvi village, Pune. ITC will fund 100% of the project cost and RTI will be the Technical & implementation partner for the project. MoU signing formality will take place later during the week. 

This project will also be the pilot project of association between RTI & ITC post which ITC will evaluate the possibility of Pan India tie up for projects across India. The annual outlay for school projects by ITC is ₹20 crores. 

Super efforts of Tr. Akshay Badjate who through his constant perseverance and dedication has got this Tie up between ITC & RTI.

The Bhoomi Pujan of CHANDKHED SHOOL took place on 26th Jan 2016 Located at Chandkhed Village by PMRT 65 in presence of Area Chairman Tr. Hitesh and NHT Sanjay Mathrani.

Highlights of the School:

• The School is Located 30 Km from Pune, • No. of Children benefitted 230. • Total Classrooms to be Built - 6 • Toilet blocks - 1 • Kitchen - 1 • Total area of School 6500 Sq ft. • Construction Cost to Rs. 41 Lakhs.

FACTORY VISITS

As per theme different tables visited factories with families to learn and understand the processes of the same. Snapshots of Visits.

1. PRT 15 Visited ‘BORA AGRO’ one of the Largest Sesame Seeds Manufacturer. Over 100 Heads visited the facility followed by HUDA party and Games.

2. PURT 144 Visited ‘JALNA AGRO’ one of the Largest farm Seeds Manufacturer. It was an outbound trip.

3. NSRT 245 Visited ‘ACRON PLAST LTD’ manufacturers of Plastic packaging for Pharma and Cosmetics.

4. MGRT 198 Visited ‘ GOWARDHAN DAIRY FACTORY’ makers of Milk products and Cheese near Pune with 30 heads participating. Tablers Experienced Milking in an Automated plant facil ity and process of Cheese

OUTBOUND FELLOWSHIP & HRD PUNE M ROUND TABLE 65

RT 65 TEAM did an Outbound HRD at Garudmachi. Team building games, adventure activities like rappelling, rock climbing and early morning trek was done.

Followed by Overnight stay with camp fire, barbecue, sunset point visit. It was Wonderful to see 7 to 8 years old twinklers doing rappelling and rock climbing. In all it was a Great weekend !!!

PRT 15 called famous Prof. Parimal Merchant and invited all the tablers & families/ friends for a free LAPD with him, chargeable to outsiders. His courses on general management, family issues and working capital are the most sought after courses by the students.

Jewel Karan took an HRD session on ART of negotiation attended by Raipur & Bhilai Tablers. He explained the key area’s where we lack and what, why and how the Negotiations take place, with the help of Principles and Examples.

KITE FESTIVAL RAIPUR CAPITAL ROUND TABLE 241

The Season 2 of Kite festival was done by RCRT 241 on 10th Jan 2016 with huge publicity and biggest gathering. They collecting a whooping 2.5 Lakhs out of the event. More than 1000 people participated in the festival.

The event was covered by major newspaper and IBC 24 News channel. AC Tr. Hitesh Graced the event by flying directly from NAGM.

BLINK MAN CAR RALLY BOMBAY ROUND TABLE 2

The BMR OF BRT 2 took place on 23rd Jan 2016 flagged off by Mrs. Devendra Ferdnavis ( First lady of Maharashtra State). The event was participated by 98 cars.

With huge pre and post media coverage in all leading news papers in Mumbai, its surely the best publicity for RTI.

Mr. Shivamani (Famous Drummist) also signed the banner for Support to RTI.AC Tr. Hitesh , LC Chairperson Cr. Masuma was also present to witness this magnificent event. RTO Coffee table book were present to both of them.

‘MEIN TO SUPER MAN’

The above quote is just right for our Area Chairman ‘Tr. HITESH’ (without Red undies of course ;)) Recently he was flying up and Down from Raipur to Mumbai and Back, just to be there and motivate tablers of Raipur and Mumbai. His story is not less than a Hero who has triller time driving over night to reach Mumbai first, to Fly to Raipur. Than he drove for 5 Hrs to Inaugurate RT 169

School, after 30 Min back to road to catch a flight at 8PM in Raipur for Mumbai, and Just made it on time. Next day Flagged off BMR by BRT 2. Late evening he had to catch the flight to Raipur again a t 5PM, but caught on a road dash on Mumbai Highway got Hurt, but somehow again caught the flight in last minute to Raipur to attend a HRD plus night fellowship with

NS and NPC. What a ROCKSTAR !!!!
