As it is the last week of Term 2, this will be the last newsletter for this term. As mentioned in the last newsletter, the class trials that have been running since Week 6 have been effective and I have decided that this arrangement for classes will continue for Term 3. I will teach students from 3-5, Mr Cumming will keep his class of 4-6 students and Mrs Taylor will teach K-2 students. It has been wonderful to see the vast learning experiences happening in our classrooms, and with the addition of Clubs, students have been fully immersed in their learning. Club groups will stay as is, until the end of Week 3 to ensure the groups can complete projects. Then we will re-organise groups for the remainder of the term. As NAIDOC week is approaching, I would encourage our school community to get involved in Community events held in the Eurobodalla, there are some wonderful events taking place. Our school, will be celebrating NAIDOC Week at the end of next term, and we can not wait! Koori cook off has been organised again, and other activities as well. More information will be provided during Term 3. Student Academic Reports will be handed to your child tomorrow. If you have any questions, please speak with your child's teacher. It is wonderful to see the Mogo Park taking shape, and we can not wait to go over and experience all it has to offer. As the construction work continues, as a school, we may have to consider running our Athletics carnival a bit different next term. The safety of your child is paramount. We will keep you up to date, once we finalise the planning of this event. I hope you all have a wonderful break, and are refreshed for Term 3, which will yet again, be full of wonderful learning experiences. Students return Tuesday, 23 July. Be a learner, Be responsible, Be caring, Be safe and Be happy! Mrs Eade Principal EXPRESSION OF INTEREST An Expression of Interest (EOI) form is attached. If you have a child or know of a child, starting Kinder in 2020 please complete the EOI and return it to the office ASAP so we can start to prepare for the new students. To start school a child must have turned 5 years of age before 31 July 2020. Kinder Orientation will take place 18-22 November. More information will be sent out closer to the date.
