of human society.By the end of grade 12. Resource availability has guided the development of human society. All forms of energy production have associated economic, social, environmental, and geopolitical costs and risks, as well as benefits. New technologies and regulations can change the balance of these factors.
WHAT MAKES A PBL STORYLINE DIFFERENT?
In a storyline, students should be involved in co-constructing the question we are working on, and should see the activity as helping make progress on that question. In a storyline, one lesson leads to the next from the students' perspective, not just the teacher's.
What is our driving question based on a phenomenon?Driving questions are types of questions that are on the surface very simple questions and yet at the same time are very complex. • These questions cannot be answered with a yes or
a no and they cannot be Googled. • Teachers and students can investigate this type of
question to investigate relevant issues.• The driving question provides us with a platform to
do just that. Our Driving Question(s): Oil prices are dropping? Is that a good thing?
