Wellington City Mission Here is the email we received regarding our Mātariki collection for the City Mission, thank you again for your support: On behalf of The Wellington City Mission I would like to extend our sincere thanks to Brooklyn Primary School for supporting our Brown Paper Bag Collection this year. We are excited to announce that during the Brown Paper Bag Collection we collected over 2200 filled bags from across the Wellington region, and raised nearly $50,000 in financial donations! It has been a hugely successful campaign and we couldn’t have done it without your support, so thank you. All of the goods and funds collected have filled our Foodbank and allowed us to continue providing hot meals, food parcels, financial mentoring, and in-home social work for people who are struggling, especially during these cold winter months. Once again, thank you for choosing to support us in this way. Our team at The Mission and those who we serve sincerely appreciate your generosity. Please find attached a special certificate of our appreciation. Kind regards, Sarah Thomas Campaigns Coordinator

Brooklyn School has heaps of amazing artists, and it’s time again to show off their masterpieces to family and friends.

This term, the school is running its cards, calendars, notebooks, mouse mats and diaries fundraiser, featuring beautiful art from our children. Not only are these must-haves to help manage your 2019 timetables, but they also make great Christmas presents for grandparents, aunties and uncles, or friends. The children have already started creating their art, which you will be able to see in their class in the week of August 20-24.
