of beading wire. On each wire, string a Czech glass bead and a copper bead. Repeat until the strand is within 2 in. (5 cm) of the finished length.

2Cut a 3-in. (7.6 cm) piece of wire. Make

a wrapped loop (Basics, p. 86). On one side, on each wire, string a spacer, a crimp bead, and the loop. Go back through the beads just strung, tighten the wire, and crimp the crimp bead (Basics). Trim the excess wire.

3On one side, string two 11 mm twisted rings,

a 10 mm ring, and a 9 mm ring. Make a wrapped loop. Open a jump ring (Basics) and attach the loop. Use two or three more jump rings to attach the bar half of a toggle clasp.

4 Check the fit, allowing 1 in. (2.5 cm) for finishing,

and add or remove beads if necessary. Repeat step 2 on the other side. String two 11 mm rings, a 10 mm ring, and a 9 mm ring. Make the first half of a wrapped loop and attach the loop half of the clasp. Complete the wraps.
