What should you know before using Lipozene
Losing those extra pounds and fitting into those skinny jeans, that’s what most of us want these days. So
for that given a choice, most of you won’t mind switching to diet pills. Lipozene is a diet pill that is being
used by many people, almost rampantly. Lipozene is used to curb appetites as it has an ingredient that
absorbs water and makes you feel full.
Lipozene is made from a vegetable fiber called “glucomannan” which is obtained from the root of a
plant named “Konjac”. This plant is also known as devil’s tongue/snake palm or elephant yam. It is
cultivated mostly in eastern Asia specifically Japan and China.
Lipozene being a natural diet supplement has some regular side effects associated with it. Some of the
known common side effects of Lipozene are:
Gas trouble
Abdominal pain
Stomach upset
Bloating of stomach
Vomiting and nausea
These minor issues can be addressed easily though and are no cause for worry unless the symptoms
extend for a very long time. But sometimes, Lipozene can cause major health issues as well. A few of
these are listed below:
1. Problem with gulping or swallowing: For some people, Lipozene has caused blockage in the
esophagus. The glucomannan in the lipozene causes this reaction. It absorbs water and expands thus
making it difficult to swallow anything else. This might also aggravate the situation in case someone has
esophageal disease or say a narrow esophagus. The pill might get stuck in the esophagus and lead to
difficulty in swallowing. This can be a life-threatening condition and one must be careful before
administering the pill.
2. Fluctuation in blood glucose levels: Glucomannan- lipozene’s prime ingredient is a sugar
(polysaccharide) and responsible for bringing about change in a person’s blood sugar levels. The change
can range from being imperceptible to a person going into shock. This can be a serious issue for people
that are suffering from diabetes. So lipozene should only be taken under the supervision of a doctor.
3. Severe discomfort in the stomach: Consumption of lipozene can sometimes lead to an upset stomach
that is rather prolonged and unease when passing stools. It can be very severe and continuous which
might drain you out thoroughly. In severe situations medical aid is necessary.
4. Allergic Reactions: Some people might show some allergic reactions like itching, swelling of the mouth
and throat, rash, hives, wheezing or breathing difficulties . It is advisable to seek medical attention
immediately if these symptoms occur. People who want to start this pill should be well aware of the
things they are typically allergic to. Often it may happen that you are allergic to another component in
lipozene, get yourself tested before you start with it.
That said, it is not necessary that everyone who starts on Lipozene will get these side effects.
Nevertheless be aware of the changes in your body and get in touch with your doctor if something
doesn’t feel right.
