Operation Redwing involved the capture or killing of a highly dangerous and elusive character, Ben Sharmak- leader of a serious Taliban force and one of Osama bin Laden's closest associates. It was a 4-man team of Mike Murphy, Matthew Axelson, Danny Dietz, and Marcus Luttrell. The operation was a go on June 27, 2005.
