3,500 nominations and comments.

Equating to 1,000 named individuals (some staff were nominated more than once).

Nominations included academic staff, student support staff, Facilities Directorate staff, Students' Union and the Security Guard in the library .

5Data AnalysisThe comments were processed using Nvivo.

Themes were developed from an analysis of the final 23 University Inspirational Teaching Award winners from last year.
