The Capitol regularly screens independent film either organised by Horsham Film Society (one of their films is screening as part of HIFF) or through our Film Hub South East Programming Group choices and we thought we’d develop that into our first small Festival week where, within this wide-ranging choice of titles, we hope that you will find something that might appeal to you.

We’re asking you to give it a go – come and see something unusual, something that might be a bit challenging, a bit out of the ordinary, a bit off the beaten track that might just spark an interest that you don’t even know you have. Film is such an exciting medium and there’s a whole world beyond the commercial programme that we screen throughout the year. This is a chance to get a taste of that.

You might find you enjoy a film you weren’t sure about, or it might make you feel happy, or sad or challenge the way you think about film or the content of a particular film, but in any event, we want you to come and give it a go and most importantly tell us what you think.
