Since the release of V3.20 in September 2018, we decided to team up with Ian Hornsby of Techman / Hubware, one of the most experienced specialists in Mega Yacht planned maintenance systems and yacht documentation. Adding Ian to the team has broadened DEEP Blue’s ability to address the more advanced PMS functionalities expected by yachts over 80 meters.

In this latest version, we deliver DEEP Blue with a comprehensive core module as the foundation for seven additional modules, which can be individually activated as part of the Client’s License.

DEEP Blue is designed expressly with non-IT specialists in mind. The user-friendly interface can be accessed by unlimited simultaneous users from any device– PC,Mac, iPad,Tabletor smart phone – both on-line via securededicated servers, or off-line through a local onboard server.Yachts can activate a local Deep Blue server on-board, which allows the Crew to work off line, and which automatically synchronizes with the Master Shore Server when an internet connection is available via VSAT / LTE or Land Line**.

DEEP Blue has been designed as a communication platform between the Yacht and the shore-based company allowing users to give and receive approvals. From the Dashboard users have access to key Yacht information in a single click.

HIGH SECURITY

DEEP Blue Yacht license runs on dedicated secured servers hosted at a Professional ISP where highest security measures are guaranteed. This allows all Users (Crew members, Managers, Owners’ Representative, and Owners) to have permanent access to their yacht’s or fleet’s info with encrypted data, allowing users to work simultaneously online or off line.

DEEP Blue Clients secure Servers are automatically updated with latest software upgrades (every 2 months in average) and backed up daily at 2 different ISP’s locations and over dedicated hi-speed bandwidth on Servers.

The ISM Module is provided with 7 pre-made electronic ISM forms that cover the primary Ship-to-Shore reporting.These forms control the creation and bi- directional communication between ship and shore.The vessel-specific Forms,Drills, SOPs, Checklists and Procedures are held as PDFs provided by the yacht or the shore-based ISM company.DEEP Blue’s ISM module strictly controls versioning, using a matrix of user-permissions.

This module allows Captains and Management companies to follow the daily accounting operations of the yacht, with total visibility on all expenses in real time, whether paid by the crew, paid by Management or directly paid by the Yacht Owner.

In Financial Settings, define the bank account structure in place to finance all Yacht expenses. Bank accounts can be set in different currencies and some accounts can be activated for different Crew members also in different currencies. Through "Access Rights Permission” template, Manager can give or deny access to the different bank / crew accounts: Select in Settings:View / Edit / no access.

For the ongoing year, the detailed Yacht Budget can be defined by category and sub categories. Real Expenses will then be compared with validated budget lines to allow strict control of monthly expenses.
