COPD stands for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. COPD is a long-term lung disease often caused by smoking. COPD includes chronic bronchitis and emphysema.

Take the Canadian Lung Health Test
If you are 40 years of age or older, a former or current smoker and if you answered YES to two or more of these questions, you may have COPD. Ask your health care provider about a simple breathing test.
This test from the Canadian Lung Association website is for information purposes only. It should not replace a complete medical examination by a doctor. If you think you may have COPD or are worried about your health, please see your doctor.
