What is a Collective? RMIT Collectives are student run groups that work collaboratively to undertake a series of projects in an artistic pursuit of their choice. Collectives work across a huge range of art forms and areas of creative practice: such as music, dance, the visual arts and creative writing. While some collectives stem from study programs, our collectives aim to encourage any student to become involved. This is a great opportunity for those not studying an arts degree but who maintain an interest in arts and culture. RMIT Link Arts & Culture supports Collectives financially, whilst also assisting them with the development of projects and publicising their work.
