Drawbacks

• Can be very pricey• Require a lot of prep work (time consuming)• The screen may be too small for some students

or students with disabilities. • As of right now, there is no way to hook an

IPOD up to a projector to be able to show the screen of your IPOD. If you get an A/V cable only videos and MP3s will show and play on the projector.

• Finding Applications• Many great applications are free; most are at the

elementary level. Be careful on free applications many have adult ads.

A Few More Tips

• To save battery life, make sure you have the students close out any applications they were working out before returning the IPOD.

• Take the rating of an application with a grain of salt because sometimes people can be over or under critical. I like to read the comments if any are left.

• Before buying an app make sure it is compatible with the IPOD you are using.
