Leaf-Cutter AntsDiet: Fungus

Habitat: Rainforests in Central and South America.

Size: 1-2cm long.

Fascinating Fact! Leaf-cutter ants cut pieces of leaf and carry them back to their tunnels. Fungus grows on the leaves which the ants eat.
